Award Winning Magic Show

Scott’s Library Magic Show is 40 minutes of fun and hilarity! His secret ingredient is the children, who become active participants in the show. The highlight of the program comes when the children help to magically produce Scott’s live bunny, Sir Walken. Other tricks include cards, ropes, rubber sharks, multiplying Angry Birds, Sponge Bob, and so much more. After the show, all the children are taught, step-by-step, how to perform several magic tricks, and reminded what an amazing resource their local library is. There is much fun to be had by all. After the show your little guests are given the opportunity to pet the bunny. This is a great opportunity to catch some precious photos. This family friendly magic show for libraries is ideal for children ages 3 through 12, but is fun for the whole family as Scott can adapt the program depending on his audience.

Free Bonus Magic Tricks – Each child will receive a souvenir magic flyer where they can learn 2 bonus magic tricks.

Complimentary Book Book – Your library will receive a complimentary copy of Scott’s inspirational children’s book “I Can and I Did!”.

Rave Reviews open
“Thank you for bringing your wonderful show to our End of Summer Celebration! The children (and parents) thoroughly enjoyed themselves during your show. You could tell by their laughter and their eagerness to participate! It was a fun-tastical show full of excitement and comedy with a little sprinkle of education. Your show opened their eyes to a world of magic and sleight of hand. We hope to have you and your bunny come back to visit us soon! Keep up the great work!”

“We had the pleasure of hosting Scott at our library during March Break. He exceeded the expectations of staff and parents alike. He brought joy and excitement to the children and families in attendance (our highest numbers for any program). His positivity, magic skills, and showmanship are a joy to watch. We’ve already had requests to bring him back! A true professional and an absolute pleasure to host.”

“The magic show today at BCRL was a huge success! We sold 93 tickets, and everyone showed up! The performance was about 30 minutes, followed by 15 minutes or so of children being able to come to the front of the room and pet the rabbit in the magic hat.
He is also donating a copy of the book he wrote to each of the branches he is performing at. The books have already been approved, so once they are catalogued they will be sent to your location.

Thanks Dina-Marie for organizing!”

NEW Magical and Inspirational
Book Reading and Workshop by Author

Occasionally, Scott Dietrich’s wife, Denise Garrido, the illustrator of their children’s book, “I Can and I Did!” will make a surprise appearance to help inspire the children.

Author/Magician Scott Dietrich presents his new book “I Can and I Did”; a short story about a Granddaughter and her Grandfather and the importance of belief in self. As the Grandfather in the story says “Whether you think you can or whether you think you can’t, you’re right.” After reading a section of the book aloud Scott proceeds to practically apply the principals of positive self-talk. This is accomplished by teaching your guests how to literally perform the impossible (by teaching them magic). This 40 minute presentation is not only magical and fun, it’s inspiring.

Free Bonus Magic Tricks – Each child will receive a souvenir magic flyer where they can learn 2 bonus magic tricks.

Complimentary Book Book – Your library will receive a complimentary copy of Scott’s inspirational children’s book “I Can and I Did!”.
